Hosting from the US for global enterprise teams
October Health partners with global enterprise customers including major US-headquartered employers. For US-licensed clinicians and credentialed coaches, hosting provides a way to do educational, group-based work for working adults — the kind of mental health support that tends not to fit neatly into private fee-for-service or insurance panels — at compensation rates that respect a US clinician's time.
Because sessions are educational and group-based rather than clinical 1:1 therapy, hosts work within their scope of practice without the complications of cross-state telehealth licensure that constrain US private practice. You bring your expertise; October brings the audience and handles compliance.
What hosting looks like for US-based clinicians
A typical session is 50 minutes, live, with audio or video and an interactive chat. Sessions cover topics US clinicians work with every day: anxiety, depression, sleep, ADHD, neurodivergence, perinatal mental health, grief, men's mental health, addiction recovery support, identity and adjustment, parenting, and relationships at work. Coaches host on leadership, performance, transitions and mental fitness.
You set your own schedule. US-based hosts can comfortably host across US, Latin American, and European working hours depending on time zone. Sessions are educational and group-based — explicitly not 1:1 therapy — and audience size ranges from intimate (~10 attendees) to large (~200), depending on topic and employer.
Who we approve in the United States
We approve clinicians with current state licensure in the relevant discipline — LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LMHC, LCPC, psychologist (PsyD or PhD with state license), psychiatric NP — and ICF-credentialed (ACC, PCC, MCC) or EMCC-credentialed coaches. Doctoral-level prescribers, peer specialists and registered dietitians (RD) are also welcome where their specialty fits enterprise audiences.
Hosting is educational and group-based, so cross-state telehealth license requirements do not apply in the way they would to 1:1 clinical care. You host within your scope of practice and refer attendees out to local care when appropriate.
How earnings work for US hosts
US hosts typically earn USD 30–100 per hosted session, paid monthly in USD via ACH directly into your US bank account. The exact rate is set when your application is approved and reflects your licensure, experience, and specialty.
You operate as an independent contractor (1099) — October provides annual 1099 documentation. Hosting income runs alongside W-2 employment or private practice without interfering with either, and self-employment taxes are straightforward to file alongside existing practice income.
