What does October pay?
Do I need to be registered with a professional body?
How many hours can I host?
Where do clients come from?
How long does review take?
Are sessions therapy or education?
What about supervision and indemnity?
Can I refer colleagues and earn for it?

Hosting for coaches
Most coaching work is invisible until you have a referral pipeline — months of one-to-one outreach before any single client lands. October Health flips that. Hosting on October puts coaches in front of real audiences at real companies, repeatedly, with no client acquisition work on your end. You build a body of public-facing work, get reps in front of audiences who match the clients you actually want, and earn per session on top.
Hosting fits around your 1:1 coaching practice, not instead of it. You set your hours, pick your topics, and there is no exclusivity.
What coaches host on
Sessions are live, 50 minutes, with audio or video and interactive chat. Coaches on October host on the full breadth of executive, leadership and life coaching topics calibrated for employer audiences: leadership transitions, managing through change, difficult conversations, performance under pressure, time and attention management, energy management, decision-making, building habits, identity at work, mental fitness, and post-promotion adjustment.
Specialty areas with particularly strong enterprise demand include leadership for first-time managers, executive presence, neurodivergence in workplaces, parental return-to-work, midlife transitions and burnout recovery.
How hosting builds a coaching practice
Hosting is the most efficient way coaches can generate downstream practice work. Attendees who connect with your style routinely reach out for 1:1 coaching or sponsor you into corporate engagements at their employer. Top-rated hosts are invited into October's in-person training pool for keynotes, workshops and on-site programmes — paid separately at a higher rate, and a strong on-ramp into senior leadership coaching engagements.
Who we approve
We approve coaches with an ICF (ACC, PCC, MCC) or EMCC (Foundation, Practitioner, Senior Practitioner, Master Practitioner) credential, or equivalent recognised qualification (accredited diploma-level coaching training from a reputable provider). Beyond credentials we look for coaches who can hold a group confidently, deliver clear and useful content for working professionals, and have an established sense of the specialty they want to host on. Coaches with prior experience speaking, writing or running workshops have an advantage in selection.
